Mission
Conti Innovation Center is developing, patenting, and producing ground-breaking technologies, systems and processes that radically improve the effectiveness of solar capture and power distribution.
The team at the Conti Energy Research Center in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey is working with thought-leaders and scientists across the globe. The company is also working in close partnership with academia, proving the science, and fast-tracking the commercialization of clean energy innovation.
Solar Experience
Founded in 2002, Conti Solar was a logical expansion of existing business capabilities. The company was an early provider of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services and rapidly expanded into operations and maintenance, project development and asset ownership.
Foreseeing the second wave of global investment in renewable energy, the Conti Group invested successfully in the utility scale and commercial solar markets. Conti Solar established itself as a leader in the solar and energy storage sectors, having constructed over 1 GW of solar projects and 300MWh of energy storage projects throughout the United States and in select international markets.
By 2020, the company had hit a significant number of milestones:
#1
Commercial Solar Installer
#23

In 2018 The Conti Group sold a majority holding in Conti Solar to ARES EIF. In 2020, the business was sold to American Securities.
Infrastructure Technology
Over the long term, Conti has focussed on delivering innovations to the construction industry that both enhance safety and allow for shorter schedules of work on the nation’s vital infrastructure.
Portable Bridge Platform
A patented, portable bridge platform made of steel and structural fiberglass that would allow teams to work under large bridges to perform bridge repairs and reconstruction. This patented process has been used on numerous projects, speeding completion and protecting the safety of Conti employees and contractors. See I-90 Milltown Bridge, Missoula, MT.
Half Face Bridge Barrier
A structural half-width portable barrier curb to be mounted on bridge decks. This invention facilitates more traffic lanes on a bridge which reduces the number of stages required to repair a bridge, resulting in a greatly reduced construction schedule. The Half Face Bridge Barrier has been deployed on numerous bridge reconstruction projects.
